Lagos Teacher Arraigned For Indecent Treatment Of Pupil
Stella Nwadigbo was detained by the Lagos State Police Command for child abuse and indecent treatment.
The 45-year-old teacher was arraigned in Magistrate Court 1, Ogba, Lagos State on Thursday, according to a statement by the Command’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin.
A three-year-old primary school pupil in the Ikorodu district of Lagos State was brutally treated and assaulted on a viral video by Nwadigbo.

The suspect was immediately taken into custody by the Ikorodu Police Division’s Family Support Unit (FSU) on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, and transferred to the Command Headquarters’ Gender Unit the same day as preliminary investigations.
Additionally, the police spokesperson made it clear that the victim had to be treated in a medical facility.
He added that until February 18, 2025, the suspect will be remanded to the Kirikiri Correctional Facility for a hearing to continue.
