Celebrity hairstylist Jesus Guerrero, who was a member of Kylie Jenner and Jennifer Lopez, passed away in February at the age of 34. His death has now been determined.
The cause of death of a celebrity hairstylist has been confirmed four months after his passing. Jesus Guerrero died in Los Angeles in February, with his passing shocking his celebrity clientele.
Among those on his roster were Kylie Jenner, Katy Perry Jennifer Lopez. Guerrero died in hospital shortly after working with J-Lo in Dubai. He was aged just 34.
A report claimed Guerrero passed away from a severe form of pneumonia. The stylist’s cause of death was Pneumocystis jirovecii pneumonia (PCP), which is a common autoimmune condition that affects people with weakened immune systems, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
A serious fungal infection that can affect a number of body organs and tissues was also included on the list. Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) was the second cause that was cited.
The death process was described as being natural.
His death was confirmed at the time by his younger sister Gris. She shared an emotional post – and revealed the family had set up a GoFundMe page in his honour. She wrote in her touching message: “My name is Gris, Jesus’s younger sister. It is with a heavy heart that we let the world know that Jesus Guerrero has gone to heaven. He is a son, a brother, an uncle, an artist, a friend, and so much more.”
She continued, “Jesus was born and raised in Houston, Texas, to immigrant parents, and he had a dream to rise to the top of his game.” Unfortunately, he passed away unanticipated and at a very sudden time. After sharing a touching tribute shortly after his death, reality TV star and business mogul Kylie said that the ‘ache of missing’ her late hair stylist ‘hit all over again’ as she continued to come to terms with his death two months on.
She had generously offered to cover the costs of his family’s March funeral in Texas. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians alum posted a message on Instagram in April expressing her ongoing heartache, “Find this video from]October 2024.” I had planned to pass this without crying, but I felt completely depressed.
“Grief is becoming more lonely; it is becoming less and less.” I’m sorely missing you. Why are you not present? Every first without you hurts [so much]”.
She had written in her heartfelt tribute, “Thank you, Jesus, for always supporting me, lifting me up, and being my friend.” I can’t imagine moving forward without you because of how much pain you’re going to experience, but I’m aware that great grief only comes from great love. and I sincerely admired you.
You had unmatched talent and were the best. a genuine artist. You have and will continue to inspire many. I will forever be in love with your words, laughter, kindness, and beautiful spirit.
“I’ll cherish every moment we spend together,” he promises. every hug and laugh. I’d like to give you another hug. I spent hours talking in my bed, much like you used to.
