Following his passing, Kylie Jenner paid tribute to her friend Jesus Guerrero.
In a statement shared on Instagram, she said: “Jesus was more than my friend – he was a light in my life, a source of laughter, comfort, love, and unwavering support. Without him by my side, I have no idea how I would have survived the past almost ten years. Even the heaviest days felt lighter thanks to him.
” Thank you, Jesus, for always being there for me, for lifting me up, for being my friend. I can’t move forward without you because of how much pain you cause, but I am aware that great grief only comes from great love. and I loved you so much. You were the best person, with a talent that was unmatched. a true artist. You inspired so many, and you always will.
“Your words, your laughter, your kindness, your beautiful spirit will live in my heart forever. I’ll cherish all our moments together. every hug and laugh. I wish I could hug you again. I spent hours talking in my bed, much like you used to. For one more in-depth discussion, I would be happy to offer anything. I’m going to miss you so much. more powerfully than any other word. 222 my angel”.
In the moving post, Kylie shared 20 images of herself and Jesus over the years. The Los Angeles-based hairdresser, 34, also worked with clients including Katy Perry and Jennifer Lopez. Guerrero shared a close bond with the youngest Kardashian, who he referred to as his ‘ main girly ‘ back in January. Gris, Jesus’ younger sister, announced his passing on Saturday via an emotional post and revealed that the family had created a GoFundMe page in his honor.
She wrote in her emotional message: “My name is Gris, Jesus’s younger sister. We announce Jesus Guerrero’s resurrection to heaven with a heavy heart. He is a son, a brother, an uncle, an artist, a friend, and so much more. Jesus, who was born and raised in Houston, Texas, was raised by immigrant parents and had a desire to advance his talents.
” Unfortunately, his passing came very suddenly and unexpectedly. His family is currently making arrangements for his accommodations and personal belongings to bring him home to Houston. We sincerely hope you will donate to GoFundMe in any way and/or share it.
In January for Fashion Week, Jesus traveled to Paris as a member of Kylie’s glam team. Jesus was seen taking a mirror selfie with his client while the lipkit mogul was styling him for a show. Kylie walked the Jean Paul Gaultier runway and attended the Chanel show. He styled Kylie’s hair for her Golden Globes appearance just two weeks prior to the trip. During the current awards season, he had worked with Demi Moore.
On January 7, Kylie ‘ liked ‘ an image the stylist posted of her Golden Globes hairstyle, which left one fan gushing: “You are KILLING it with her hair recently!!”! Kylie previously joked about getting a haircut from her close friend and joked on her Instagram: “@jesushair said he was trimming me and cutting off all of my hair.
Kylie’s make-up artist Ariel Tejada, who frequently worked alongside Jesus, posted a lengthy tribute on Instagram, telling his followers that they had experienced ‘ the most painful, breath taking pain I have ever felt when I found out you left us. ‘
