After falling to giant killers Abakaliki FC 4-3 on penalties, Kwara United won the President’s Cup.
Both teams failed to find the back of the net in regulation time, so the final, which took place at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos, immediately went into penalties.
Kwara United won the trophy for the first time after missing their first chance to score four more goals.

With their victory on Saturday, the Afonja Warriors will now play for Nigeria in the CAF Confederation Cup for the first time.
