Krishnan, however, is a devoted husband to his 18-year-old wife Lisa, whom he wed in February 2005, when not shimmying on Strictly or breaking the news. Jay, a 16-year-old son, and daughter Jasmine, 18, are the couple’s other two children.
When asked how they met, Krishnan revealed that their mutual friend Tim Hincks had set up a blind date. Tim introduced me to Lisa, who collaborated with his wife Pippa, while we were working on a show. We now play in a band together, which is much more significant. However, we never discuss rock and roll with wives because they don’t take us seriously.
Krishnan, who doesn’t frequently post on Instagram, showed Lisa wearing a blue sari to his traditional Indian wedding day. He wrote, “I can’t believe it’s been 14 years,” to commemorate their 14th wedding anniversary in 2019. I’m extremely fortunate.
He described their wedding festivities as a “real mixture of Indian and British culture” when asked about them. He continued, “I played a few rock ‘n’ roll songs,” showcasing his hidden talent that had become an integral part of his big day. Due to the fact that I was the worst guitarist among the three of us, I sang and played bass. In a previous interview with The Guardian, he said, “Let’s just say the crowd was on our side.
In contrast to her illustrious husband, Lisa is not well-known and has little information about her profession. Krishnan, however, recently admitted that after “being asked for years,” his wife gave him strict instructions.
He claimed that after turning 53 in April, he came to the realization that Lisa was “looking hot” after transforming her own fitness by joining a rowing club and running 10 miles every other day. He describes Lisa as “overweight and unattractive.”
His wife isn’t complaining that he has lost almost three stone since then and only needs seven fewer holes to fasten his trouser belt. “My wife is enjoying that I am a little lighter than I was,” he said to MailOnline. I suppose I’ve been attempting to follow her. She must be happy that I’ve started to gather myself, get in shape, and look a little more presentable.

If you find yourself in a situation where all the women are attractive but the men are overweight and have beer bellies, I don’t think it’s necessarily bad if men gather themselves because their wives are looking hotter than they are.

Krishnan has hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, a genetic heart condition that causes him to “drop dead” at any time if he pushes his heart too hard. Despite strictly following his diet plan for weight loss and fun, doctors have warned him of this. He claims, however, that he finally understood how important it was for him to appear on the BBC program right away or risk being “too decrepit” to do so.
