Kim Kardashian has criticised ICE raids in Los Angeles and US President Donald Trump’s immigration policies.
Kim Kardashian has voiced her concerns over US President Donald Trump’s stringent immigration policies. The reality TV star, who has previously met with Trump to discuss criminal justice reform, expressed her disappointment over the increased raids by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) as part of Trump’s anti-immigration stance.
Kim told Variety at Diane Von Furstenberg’s DVF Awards in Venice on Thursday (28.08.25), “Oh, it’s about people who have committed these crimes and they’re trying to help out our country.”
“But then you learn about the many people who have put in so much effort to build our nation and the people who make up our nation.”

People I know, I say. People I know, my friends.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star went on to say: “You want to believe that there’s a powerful message in protection, but then you see that it’s not really happening like that.
Although it’s very difficult, I believe we must take all necessary precautions to safeguard those who have genuinely supported and helped build our nation.
After the raids sparked widespread protests, Kim had previously criticized the ICE raids in Los Angeles in June. She had previously said there “has to be a better way” to address illegal immigration.
She posted on Instagram: “When we’re told that ICE exists to keep our country safe and remove violent criminals – great. But when we witness innocent, hardworking people being ripped from their families in inhumane ways, we have to speak up. We have to do what’s right.
I’ve seen how deeply immigrants are woven into the fabric of this city as a child growing up in LA. They are our neighbors, friends, classmates, coworkers, and extended families.
It is obvious that immigrants’ contributions to our communities are what determines where you stand politically. When people are prevented from living freely and safely by fear and injustice, we cannot turn our attention away. A BETTER approach HAS to be employed.
Kardashian also made a statement in Venice about her plans to travel back to the White House in order to secure Erik and Lyle Menendez’ release from prison, where they were both recently sentenced to more than 30 years for the 1989 murder of their parents.
She remarked, “I would love to. Since the governor is actually in charge of the governor’s decision, the Menendez brothers are in a state prison. However, I would go to any administration and White House to fight for people’s liberties.
