Kerry Katona shares major update on mum after she was rushed to hospital

Sue, her mother, has been in the hospital recently, and Kerry Katona has provided an update on her health.

The 44-year-old former Atomic Kitten star has been at Sue’s side – and sharing social media posts from the hospital. Kerry, who had previously disclosed that she had been close to death twice, took to social media to update her mother’s condition on Sunday.

While Kerry recorded Sue and provided information on her health struggles, Sue directly spoke to the camera. She told viewers: “Well, after everything they told me and me being really really poorly, I died nearly, twice, I have broke me back. And I don’t know how, but apparently it was years ago”.

Disputing the facts, Kerry insisted “it wasn’t years ago” that Sue injured her back, and also said she would be left “frustrated” as she had told her mother to seek medical help in the past. Sue’s fans were confounded by her claims that she had broken up with her fitness trainer fiancé, 36, despite Cherry’s regularly funny jokes that have helped lift her spirits.

On Friday, The Whole Again singer informed fans on social media that her mother was receiving medical care at a hospital. When Danielle Brown responded to the post to ask: “So much love to you both, and is the Dr single”? the singer-turned OnlyFans star cheekily responded back to the fan, writing: “No, but I am”!

Fans then expressed concern that Kerry had ended her six-year romantic relationship with her ex. The singer then went back to social media the following day to clarify her position and claim that she was only joking. In a lengthy post, Kerry wrote: “This is not me confirming that I have split with @ryanmahoney_7 at all!!! I, my mother, and my best friend had a laugh while the doctor was trying to make my mother laugh! In a post on her grid, she then revealed even more details about her humorous comment.

The star continued: “So I see the papers have taken a joke between me, my mum and best friend about a dr!!!! Ffs I even put a laughing face!!!! We were all just playing along with my mother because she has the funniest sense of humor! Never imagined a journalist would scroll through 1500 comments and publish a headline like @ryanmahoney_7 despite the fact that we were trying to cheer up my mother! I’ve confirmed nothing!!!!!! This was light humor, everyone else could see. “!

Kerry’s fans quickly supported her, with some encouraging her to make other remarks to stir up false news. One fan commented: “I think it’s funny I’d be making fake news on the daily” alongside a string of crying-with-laughter emojis.
