Kerry Katona left fearing for her life in horror car crash

Kerry Katona’s difficult year came to an end last week when she skidded on black ice and ruined her £200,000 Lamborghini Urus. The accident occurred while the 44-year-old former Atomic Kitten star was preparing for the pantomime Cinderella at Northwich Memorial Court, where she is starring alongside Katie Price. Thankfully, the TV personality was uninjured in the collision, but police later revealed that she had been left shaken and driven home.

I crashed my car on an icy country road this week, she says, “I literally thought I was going to die” while talking to Molly while I was hands-free in the car. I had no control over my car when I was just completely shocked and lost control of it. Molly was still on the line when my phone realized I had been in a collision and set off an alert.

She continued, “Four other cars later that day, because it wasn’t a country road with any salt on it, so thankfully the police determined that this was the road’s condition and not my fault.” When they drove me home, I was seriously shaken and had whiplash.

I stopped taking the medication because it made me feel out of control, even though the doctor did give me it, but it was very strong. My car is still getting fixed but my friend, who runs The Cannon Run, has given me a car for the meantime, which is an absolute monster truck – it’s absolutely massive. I don’t even know how I’m driving it, it’s like a spaceship”.

The mother of five recently broke up with her fiance Ryan Mahony and her mother, who Kerry revealed has blood clots and other health issues, and has been through a turbulent few months.

Kerry, 44, and 36-year-old fitness instructor Ryan got engaged in 2021, but their romance has been anything but smooth-sailing. The pair, who had already proposed on Bumble in 2018, had planned to tie the knot in Las Vegas, but they had to postpone their engagement photos in Sin City.
