Despite her closeness to Katie Price and her recent remarks, Kerry Katona has insisted she has “no beef” with Peter Andre and revealed she even texts him occasionally.
Kerry Katona has revealed she has ‘no beef’ with Peter Andre, despite her close bond with his ex-wife Katie Price. Singer and TV star Kerry, 45, revealed she saw Peter’s wife Emily at a recent star-studded event earlier this week, and decided to introduce herself to doctor Emily, 35, who she said is a “lovely girl”.
Writing for New in her most recent column! Kerry mentioned seeing Emily Andre at the Beauty Awards in her article. Heidi and I met up at Pete and Emily’s last week, so Heidi and I swapped mothers and introduced ourselves. What a lovely girl she is! We sat down and chatted away despite having never met her before.
Katie Price is aware of this fact that I am a very fair person. The other week, I texted Katie and we were both in touch. Although I have no issues with these people, Katie will always be my girl and I will always have her back.
This comes after Kerry said her close pal Katie Price’s exes, including Peter Andre, would be ‘nothing without her’ in a recent interview. She said: “None of them would have been anything without her. Peter Andre would have been no one without her. They clung on to her coat-tails.” Katie and Peter first met in the I’m A Celebrity jungle in 2004. They tied the knot in 2009 and welcomed two children together; Junior, now 20, and Princess, now 18. However, their love story wasn’t to last and the pair split in 2009.
Kerry just recently wrapped up a UK-wide tour with her pal Katie, 47 – called An Evening with Katie Price and Kerry Katona, which was a huge success amongst fans. Writing in her new! column shortly after the tour ended at the beginning of November, Kerry revealed: “Katie Price and I wrapped up the final date of our tour – thank f**k for that! The travelling and being away from home was very draining, but Katie and I are already FaceTiming each other, getting ready for the next tour together.
“We’re really looking forward to that even though it won’t be until next year.” I enjoy my routine, so it’s nice to return to the school games and watch DJ cheer on. I feel like I’ve missed out on a lot because I’m on tour. However, the tour was bigger and better than I had anticipated.
Kerry and Katie have a very close relationship, first meeting in 2004 when Katie met Peter in the jungle. The pair’s most recent trip to the theater was one of their many professional successes, as did their previous panto performance as the wicked step-sisters.
Although the pair enjoys numerous joint career endeavors, Katie and Kerry follow a very modest course of action when they meet up. Kerry recently told the Daily Mail, “I think people would be surprised how boring we are. She and I sat in our jammies last night and watched crime on television.
