On Monday, the Katsina government reiterated its commitment to support all state-run sports.

It provided assurance that the government was ready to support the development of young people’s God-given talents in order to realize their goals.

Faruk Jobe, the deputy governor of Katsina, made known during a visit to the Government House in Katsina that he had been given the invitation to visit Tabic Sports Agency of Canada and Bondy Academy of France.

Their visit came on the heels of a Monday scouting event that was held to give young footballers in the state, mostly under 16 and under 18, the chance to showcase their skills to foreign scouts.
