A relationship expert warns that it may be too late for her to find answers after she claims that she and Peter Andre have never properly discussed their marriage breakdown.
Katie Price and Peter Andre famously fell in love in the Australian jungle on I’m A Celebrity back in 2004. But four years after tying the knot at Highclere Castle in Hampshire the following year, they signed their divorce papers and it was all over. Despite sharing two children – Junior and Princess Andre – Katie has claimed that she had Pete have never properly discussed what happened, saying, “I’ve never sat down with him, we probably would’ve sorted it out but we were kept apart.”
The former glamour model, who turns 47 on May 22, was asked if she would “sit and have a chat with] Peter here,” and Katie responded “yes”.

But despite Paul’s opinion that “it would be incredible to reconcile”, a relationship expert has told the Mirror that Katie might actually be better “learning to let go” rather than expecting any kind of resolution.
JJ Slater, a Married at First Sight star, and Katie, who is currently dating JJ, made it clear on the We Need to Talk podcast that they both believed Peter had lied about their relationship, and they ended it.
She claimed that the Mysterious Girl singer, who has been married to Emily MacDonagh for almost ten years, had never slept with him and thought she was cheating with her dressage rider.
She said, “I just kept my horse there, and I was happy keeping my horse there because he was married.” However, because he used to say, “That’s it,” we split when we two. There is enough for me. I’ve had enough. I eventually decided to “Well f*****g divorce me”
It might be too late to address any unresolved issues, according to relationship expert Tina Wilson, who also founded the Wingman dating app.
“While it’s entirely natural to seek healing from unresolved heartache, the truth is that those healings may never be forthcoming. It may not seem necessary for him to revisit their relationship, especially in public, because Peter likely processed the ending of their relationship in his own way.
Katie may never get the clarity she’s looking for, she continued. “Seeing Peter and his new wife have a stable, loving relationship with her may have sparked comparisons for Katie, especially since their breakup wasn’t entirely in her hands,” he said. However, she or her life moving forward doesn’t benefit from romanticizing the past or lingering on “what could have been.”
She claimed that finding acceptance and peace with the fact that not all endings have “neat explanations” might be the most empowering path for Katie.
She stated to us, “Closure is a decision, not a conversation.” “Katie may need to finally move forward and find emotional freedom by learning to let go without resoluteness.”
