Rick told The Sun about Katie’s new single, saying: “For her it’s about being broken, but putting herself back together again. Every time things have gone wrong, whether she’s broken her legs or her relationship’s gone sideways or her exes are blowing up again, she’s like, ‘no, don’t worry about it. I’ll reset. I’ll put myself back together again. It’s fine.'”
Speaking about how it felt to be back in the charts, Rick said: “This was all completely unexpected. My phone started blowing up and I had about 60 missed calls and a load of text messages from people saying ‘you’re back in the charts’.”
Katie has been in the music industry for some time and 2019 saw her song Hurricane reach number six in the iTunes chart. Last weekend Katie spoke to her fans about what it meant to her to be in the charts once again.
The star told her fans: “I’m number one. Thank you all so much for all your support honestly means the world to me.” Despite starting as a model, Katie has always been honest about her love of music especially when she attempted to represent the United Kingdom at Eurovision.
In 2005, she battled it out for the public’s vote on the BBC’s selection programme, Eurovision: Making Your Mind Up but she didn’t quite make it.
