Katie Price launched into a rant against those trying to dictate her children’s lives while failing to give her a say and taking away her ‘right’ as a mother
Katie Price appears to have taken yet another swipe at Peter Andre in her latest podcast. The former glamour model, 47, was speaking to her sister Sophie on their The Katie Price Show podcast when she went on a rant.
Despite not specifically naming her ex, who she met in the I’m A Celebrity jungle, her comments could indicate further fallout between the pair. They have had a number of high-profile fallouts, specifically when it comes to their kids, Junior and Princess.
Katie told her sister: “When you’ve got a child, right. I don’t know the right word, but say like with your kids. If you had someone dictating what your kids do and they won’t give you a say, it’s like taking your mother’s instinct. Your mother’s right.

“It does hurt my feelings because I am their mother and I will also be their mother, regardless. People who make money off them will come and go, yet your mother will be there forever.”
Sister Sophie then jumped in and smirked as she asked: “Has mum actually said that to you before?” She then laughed as she let Katie respond.
The mum-of-five then said: “No, but it’s true.” Sophie agreed and echoed the sentiment.
The words come as Princess Andre’s The Princess Diaries was confirmed as being commissioned for a second series. The first offering saw Katie hit out at producers and Peter for not letting her be a part of it.
She slammed the decision to cut her from production despite her offering her support. Instead, Katie only had a brief phone cameo on the series, while singer Peter and new wife Emily were prominent throughout.
However, the couple have since reportedly pulled out of filming the second series of the reality TV show. Cameras follow the 18-year-old’s own rise to fame, from a fashion and beauty influencer to young businesswoman determined to make her own money away from her parent’s fame.
And it’s thought the latest series will see dad Peter, 52, and stepmum Emily, 36, step back from filming at their house in Surrey.
A source recently told MailOnline: “Pete and Emily will not feature in The Princess Diaries seasons two and three. It was discussed between him and Princess, and they decided as a family that it’s better for the show to focus on Princess alone, rather than her family life.
“Katie was obviously very hurt over not being asked to film alongside Princess for season one, and she caused a lot of drama and upset behind the scenes.No one wants Princess to feel caught between her two parents, so Pete has taken a massive step back, which he hopes will resolve many of the issues.
“Everyone just wants the best for Princess, and the show is her series after all, now she’s 18, she can stand on her own two feet.”
Speaking out on her ‘ban’ at the time, Katie claimed she was “not allowed” to be on the show because of Princess’ management team. The organisation also represents Peter.
