Katie Price is well-known for keeping an assortment of animals at her Mucky Mansion homestead, but fans think she needs to be stopped. Some critics are so concerned that they’ve made a petition to force action, and it’s gained tens of thousands of signatures from animal lovers – soon after she posed with her new dog.

The petition on change.org has over 37,000 supporters at the time of writing, and is addressed to the RSPCA and PETA on the topic “Ban Katie price from buying any more animals.”

It was made in 2020 following the death of her French Bulldog puppy Rolo, who was welcomed to the family for daughter Princess Andre’s 13th birthday. Katie, 46, revealed that the tiny puppy died after being suffocated in an armchair while she was packing in a different room.

A spokesman for JRC Bullies – who “gifted” to dog to the Loose Women star – stated to the Mirror at the time: “We are heartbroken that this has happened as we told Katie not to leave a small puppy on its own. We can’t believe that the puppy was left unattended as we had left strict instructions.”

The petition states that a puppy passed away in Katie Price’s care in the past 24 hours. She bought the puppy for her 13-year-old child three weeks ago. which was killed in a tragic accident that no-one witnessed.

According to them, “more animals have died from carelessness in the last five years.” Horses . dogs . hedgehogs, lizards, cats. Not just any family tragedy, this. It’s a regular occurrence in Katie Price’s home.

“There have been two dog runs.” In a shoddy swimming pool, puppies were discovered dead and drowning. On a motorway, a horse was struck. Animals simply disappear from her home, never to be seen again.

While the petition calls on PETA for help, the animal rights charity has already addressed Katie’s care of her animals – and last year even offered to give her £5000 cash if she signs a legal agreement promising not to buy another pet.

In an open letter to the Celebrity Big Brother housemate, PETA’s Vice President Elisa Allen wrote: “While your intentions may be good, the ever-growing number of animals who have either died under your supervision or been given away is impossible to ignore, and people are rightly concerned.

The fact is that you are consistently harming these sensitive, sentient people, and I hope you all agree that this is a solution, whatever excuses you may have for their suffering, abandonment, or demise.

Reports indicate that at least eight of Katie’s animals have passed away under her care in a variety of different ways, including five dogs, a horse, and a chameleon.
