Within the next three years, Katie Price has set an ambitious goal of making £500 million. Despite her recent financial difficulties, including an unpaid tax bill totaling more than £760,000, which she declared bankruptcy in March 2024, Katie is optimistic about her financial future.
In a candid discussion on her podcast, The Katie Price Show, she shared her bold resolution: “New year’s resolution, if that’s the right word, is I want to make about 500 million in about three years”.
When her sister, Sophie, expressed amusement at the ambitious goal, Katie responded with determination: “And there’s one way I’m gonna do that… Win the f**ing lottery”. *
Katie’s New Year’s declaration has sparked a range of reactions from fans and commentators, with some expressing scepticism while others offer support and amusement. Katie’s financial journey has been tumultuous. At the peak of her career, she had an estimated fortune of £45 million, amassed through her modeling career, book deals, and television appearances. However, her finances have been strained by supporting ex-partners ‘ lavish lifestyles and legal expenses, leading to her first bankruptcy in 2019 over debts totalling £3.2 million. She has attributed her financial challenges to funding her exes ‘ extravagant lifestyles, including cars, watches, luxury holidays, and homes.
She stated in a recent interview with The Times, “You don’t need to be a genius to realize that men are my life’s demise.” A million per cent. All my dramas, my bankruptcy – everything is men. Always men. That is it”. She added: “When you see exes gloat around, knowing you’ve paid for stuff, that’s the worst torment for me”.
Katie has had a high-profile love life, with several marriages and relationships. She first married Peter Andre in 2005, and they have two children together, Junior and Princess. She wed Alex Reid in 2010, despite their split in 2009, but their union ended in divorce in 2011. Katie then married Kieran Hayler in 2013, and they have two children, Jett and Bunny, but they separated in 2018.
Carl Woods, a former Love Island contestant, later betrayed her and took her on lavish and expensive vacations around the world. Opening up about her checkered love life, Katie said: “If men had not been in my life, I wouldn’t be in the bankruptcy things that I’ve been in. I wouldn’t suffer the same amount of mental abuse and torture as I did.
Married At First Sight Star JJ Slater, who appears to have become a strong support system for her, is the former glamour model’s current partner. After first meeting him on Married At First Sight, Katie immediately developed feelings for him.
