Katie Price shared a selection of sweet throwback pictures to mark International Women’s Day.

The glamour model, 46, posted a carousel of images of herself with her mum Amy, sister Sophie and daughter Princess, 17. Among the shots was a picture taken at the Houses of Parliament in 2018, where Katie is flanked by her mum and Princess as they celebrate 100 years of women having the vote.

She captioned the pics, “Well-behaved women rarely make history… Happy International Women’s Day”, rounding off the sentence with a red heart emoji. Also on Instagram, Lisa Snowdon, 53, became emotional as she reflected on attending a string of glitzy International Women’s Day events yesterday.

One of the appointments in her calendar was lunch with author Donna Ashworth to mark the release of her new book, where she hung out with EastEnders actress Natalie Cassidy, whose final scenes on the soap will air imminently.

She also posted photos of herself with Davina McCall, 57, Lisa Faulkner, 53, and 54-year-old Anna Richardson. In a video she shared to Instagram stories, Lisa told fans: “I felt so emotional w last night when I got home. I just burst into tears… I’m crying now thinking about it.

” Here’s to all you incredible women who continue to inspire me, sending big love today, and not just today, always. “Amanda Holden was among some of the other stars who marked International Women’s Day. She posted a memoji of herself and the caption”, To all the incredible women in my life, I love you and wouldn’t be me without you. Enjoy the sunshine today. “

Emma Bunton honoured her Spice Girl roots with a girl power infused meme which read”, Empowered women empower others. Every woman’s success can inspire others – we’re strongest when we lift each other up. “Former Love Islanders Sharon Gaffka, 29, and Liberty Poole, 25, also got into the spirit of things. Both of them posted videos to their social channels reflecting on what being a woman means to them.

Liberty wrote:” Happy International Women’s Day my message is we are always so much more then what we look like! I loved @milliebobbybrown message recently. I feel like society has made us obsess over looks and give them more value then truly important things.

“So I wanted to share some things I think are so valuable and more important. If your receiving negativity based on your appearance turn the pain into power and spread a positive message it’s so freeing”.

Sharon Gaffka used her platform to share a video of her handing out bags of makeup to women on the street. She said: “I stepped out of my comfort zone and approached strangers (don’t tell my mum!). Being a woman can be tough, so what better way to use up extra @muacosmetics goodie bags from my #InternationalWomensDay event than by spreading a little joy to other women”!
