Fans at Katie Price’s most recent tour date are said to be “furious” and demanding their money back after the star missed a huge chunk of her own show.

Katie and her close friend Kerry Katona have embarked on a 33-date tell-all tour called An Evening with Katie Price and Kerry Katona. The tour has taken the pair to venues all around the country, including The Playhouse in Whitley Bay. But, in a since-deleted Instagram post, the venue informed fans that the show would be starting 30 minutes late due to technical difficulties.

When the show did start, only Kerry was present for the first half. Katie was reportedly supposed to join by video call, but that was a “disaster,” according to a source.

The source explained: “Kerry went on solo for the first half and Katie tried to join by video but it was a disaster. They had a longer interval and Katie finally got there at 9:30. She said it was the traffic and had taken her over nine hours to get there, but fans are furious.”

Fans are reported to have demanded their money back. Speaking to The Sun, one disgruntled fan said: “We want half our money back because it was only half a show – it’s so unprofessional.”

Another called the fact that Katie was only on stage for roughly half an hour a “joke” and that the audience still hadn’t had a proper apology.

“People don’t want to be hanging around on a Monday night just for that. They didn’t even say sorry properly.” Recently, Katie found herself in hot water with fans after she cancelled a charity gig to attend Chloe Ferry’s 30th birthday party.

She was booked to appear at Milton Keynes Pride but pulled out at the last minute. The organisers slammed her “professionalism”, especially when the excuse she gave – that she was too busy filming and recording a new song in a studio – turned out not to be the complete truth.

“I was disappointed when she cancelled, but when it turned out to be Chloe Ferry’s birthday, I was infuriated. It’s not right,” said a former fan. “When she said she couldn’t do a charity gig because of filming, that was a load of b*****ks.”

Katie had told fans that she was “sorry” to cancel her performance as other commitments meant she was unable to attend. She told fans that she was “filming” and “recording” her latest single, following her success with I Got U. “I hope you have a fantastic time and I’m so sorry. It’s just my filming schedule at the moment,” she said.

Prior to this, Katie was due to headline Barnsley Pride in July, but again, she cancelled her performance just hours before she was due to attend. In the same month, she also cancelled a performance at Glasgow Pride due to “another urgent obligation.”

The Mirror has contacted Katie’s reps for a comment.
