The Prince and Princess of Wales make a private family home known as Adelaide Cottage when they aren’t performing royal duties.
Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, their three children, as well as their beloved family dog, Orla, the cocker spaniel, reside in the five-bedroom home on the Windsor estate. Adelaide Cottage has been their home for almost three years, with the exception of a few glimpses of what transpires behind closed doors. However, on one trip, William appeared to have shed light on what happens during bedtime, with Kate and William frequently joined by Orla, the dog, from one of their families.

William made the revelation last year while visiting Duchy College in Cornwall by petting a well-wisher’s dog. She claims that the prince informed her that Orla frequently sleeps on the bed alongside the royal couple as he chatted with Louise Harland and stroked her dog Jacks.
Louise claimed on Hits Radio Cornwall that William’s dog, Kate, and him both sleep on the bed at night with them. He had a crush on my small dog, and he loved it. He inquired about the breed, and because he is a Cockerjack, that he is a little bit of a unique combination.
Orla’s first pet is not the family. Lupo, Kate’s previous dog, passed away in November 2020 as a wedding gift from her brother James.
She and William and Kate both participated in a polo match in 2023, and she was photographed with Princess Charlotte in a stunning photo released in May to celebrate her seventh birthday.
The Wales family may also have other animals, though. William visited Woodgate Valley Urban Farm last year, where he met a variety of animals, including some incredibly cute guinea pigs. The prince was permitted to brush the fur of one called Snowflake as well as their owners, who also had the opportunity to pet them. And he said, “These guys are pretty cool, folks,” to some of the people he met at the farm. Guinea pigs are not like this when they are at home.
Because the children don’t do it, “I have to spend my life cleaning out the guinea pig cage.” They then leave because you have to deal with them constantly, which is why these people are so composed. The ones we have at home are off. You must provide them with constant care.
