Kate Ferdinand, her husband Rio Ferdinand, and their children, have made a big family move to Dubai, where Kate has officially reconnected.
Kate Ferdinand has admitted her new life in Dubai is “chaotic”. The reality TV star, 34, and husband Rio Ferdinand, 46, relocated their family to the UAE and she has admitted the difficulties they have found so far.
Kate claims that the couple and their five children are experiencing “overstimulation” just weeks into their significant move, but she insists they still manage to attend their regular family gatherings, such as dinner time.
Lorenz, 19, Tate, 17, and Tia, 13, Rio’s older children from his marriage to Rebecca Ellison, who are Kate and Rio’s two children, Cree, four, and Shae, two, relocated to Dubai, while Tia, 13, Lorenz, 19, Tate, 17, and Kate, 13, relocated there.

The move has been “everything you could wish” for, according to Kate, though they will all need to get used to how loud and busy everything is. You can’t even hear yourself think, she exclaimed, because it’s so loud I can’t even tell.
There is a lot of overstimulation, they say. It’s also so unique, crazy, loving, and loud, and everything you could want. The children have a wonderful relationship.
She acknowledged in a conversation with Kent Life that their established dinnertime guidelines for a family can be “mental” “There’s food being thrown around everywhere,” she admitted. Drinks are being spewed. But this is the only time we’re all together normally.
Kate has regularly shared updates from their time in the sun on Instagram. Recently, her carousel was filled with sweet pictures of the family enjoying a dip in Dubai’s Gulf. There were also snaps of some intense gym workouts.
In search of a new beginning and new life, Kate and Rio traveled from Bromley, south-east London, to the gated community of Al Barari. Kate recently shared a sneak peek of their lavish new family home with her followers on Instagram, declaring that it was a “new chapter” for the family.
A new chapter, a new beginning, because we won’t know without trying, she said. Ahhh ! We’ve been discussing this for a while, but it finally seems like it’s happening. We’re here, we’re making a new home there, where we met!
She continued, “We’re already a little scared, excited, and nervous, but more importantly, ready for fresh beginnings and new beginnings.”
Dubai is where the two men first met each other, and it holds a special place in their hearts. After being introduced by a mutual friend, Rio and former TOWIE star Kate met almost ten years ago.
Rio, a former England international footballer, even made the proposal to Kate in Abu Dhabi two years after their meeting. The Middle East has a lot of potential for the family, according to a source who spoke to The Sun.
They both said, “They both could easily travel back and forth for their work commitments in the UK because that’s where they met.”
