Kardashians star left in tears as home ripped apart by devastating LA fires
When the devastating wildfires destroyed her home, a Kardashians star was left in tears.
Jen Atkin, a former hairstylist for Kim Kardashian and co-owner of OUAI, shared a news update on the Pacific Palisades neighborhood fires on social media with fans. Sharing a post with her 5.3million followers, she described her ‘ sweet neighborhood just last week’.
She added an emotional emoji and a view across the water. Additionally, she shared a photo of the horrifying fire’s coastline. “This is weird to post but our house is gone, ‘ Jen wrote, as she was seen crying with her dog on her lap while her husband, fashion photographer Mike Rosenthal, drove them to evacuate the area.
” We just got confirmation, “Jen continued”. Our whole area demolished. It’s almost too much to bear because so many people are being driven away and feeling scared right now. Our neighbors are all looking after one another and checking in, which is the 2025 theme. We’re going to be ok. “
She added:” We always push thru. I’m so sorry I left my grandmother’s church blazer and her tictacs in the pockets. Additionally, I left chewy’s little grave. Thank you for the warm embrace of love today.
As California’s population is forced to flee to safety, thousands of people have been displaced as a result of wildfires that have been rapidly spreading throughout the state. Parts affected include Malibu, the Hollywood Hills area and Runyon Canyon. So far, five people have been killed according to officials, with over 1000 homes destroyed and 70, 000 people evacuated.
The fires, which have been labeled a state of emergency, have made it nearly impossible for the firefighters to even begin containing the spreading fires, with reports of water shortages and fierce winds. Additionally, homes belonging to celebrities like Paris Hilton, Harrison Ford, and Billy Crystal have been destroyed.
Dozens of fires have been reported across the region, with fires in Hurst, Eaton, Woodley, Palisades and Runyon Canyon – with the fires now so substantial they span more than 25, 000 acres with the smoke even visible from space, as per the Nasa Space Observatory. President Joe Biden has responded to the crisis by approving the distribution of more aid, and with President Joe Biden now declaring a state of emergency, all resources are being used to try to control the situation.
