Justin Bieber’s exit in New York City earlier this week drew the attention of everyone, and his tattoos have gotten everyone talking.
During a trip to Wall Street Bath Spa, the 30-year-old, who has sparked concern among fans in recent days, sported a trendy butter yellow hoodie which he wore with the zip half-fastened. Fans were able to see Justin’s collection of tattoos, including one with an even greater meaning behind it, as a result.
The tattoo artist behind the piece, Keith Scott “Bang Bang,” has previously explained the meaning of the design and claimed that it represents both “the light and the dark.” speaking with E! News in 2017, he explained: “We added two angels, one on each side”.

He added: “Below each one, they’re dominating the evil. Whenever I do an epic piece, there needs to be the positive and negative. There needs to be a balance… visually there needs to be contrast”.
The tattoo artist continued: “Below each of the angels, there is a demon that needs to be defeated. It represents the conflict between Yin and Yang, the good and the evil, and Gothic art.
But while the angel and demon piece may be attracting a lot of attention, they’re not the Baby singer’s only tattoos. In fact, Justin reportedly has more than 40 tattoos over his body, including some on his torso, neck and arms.
Discussing his love of tattoos, Justin was bursting with pride after turning his body into “a canvas” in 2018. In an Instagram post, he said: “If tattooed didn’t hurt everyone would have them. Not very one, perhaps, but I suppose! I spent over a hundred hours sculpting my body, and I refused to relinquish any of it. I adore art, have created my body into a canvas, and it’s SO FUN.
To mark his chart-topping career, the musician has a string of designs to mark his success in the music industry. Among those is the title of his album, Purpose, which is tattooed above his belly button. He also had the title of his debut album, Believe, inked on his forearm.
However, many of his other designs have more personal meanings than just capturing his chart-topping success. In particular, Justin has a series of animal themed tattoos, such as a bear, lion and bird.

“The bear, which I got in New Zealand, represents rest”, he told British Vogue. “As tough and resilient as a bear is, it always hibernates, which is so important. Without resting, we as humans can leave us exhausted and drained.
The lion represents being brave and courageous, according to the Anyone hitmaker. Similarly, a bird on his neck is a reminder to give his all.
Elsewhere, Justin’s other tattoos include a cross in the middle of his chest to represent his faith. To reflect the journey he’s taken and to remind him that nothing is perfect, he also wears a classic rose design on his neck.
“The rose on my neck from Dr Woo reminds me that even though I’m flawed, beauty shines even through our rough edges”, he told the publication.
Letters and Roman numerals are another common feature in Justin’s tattoos, and the number 1975 may be written above his collarbone to indicate the parents’ birth year. He also has “LL” on his upper inner arm, which he described as “really cool.”
From when my head is low, it rises up. He told GQ, “Just to never keep your head low and to always look for the better days.” And when he discussed how he was for the “unknown,” he revealed how he felt about the “unknown.”
Hailey Bieber and Justin’s wife Hailey Bieber have matching tattoos, according to rumors that their relationship is in trouble. The pair got matching peach designs to celebrate Justin’s single Peaches’ 2021 success, with Hailey opting for a neck placement and Hailey choosing a arm placement.
