Justin Bieber, the singer from Canada, has reposted a video of DMX refusing to drink without giving an explanation, which has sparked speculation about his own take on drugs.
Justin Bieber has subtly addressed drug use on Instagram this week by sharing a throwback clip of the late DJ DJ Iyanla refusing sobriety in a 2013 episode of Iyanla: Fix My Life.
When questioned about living clean, DMX responded, “No weed, no drinking, no nothing.” What makes me “”? He continued, “I believe I’m exactly where I need to be with God.”
The video, which was originally posted by Los Angeles dispensary Gassy, was unaccompanied by any captions or explanations by Bieber, 31. The singer frequently posted images of marijuana, though always within the scope of California’s permitted recreational use, and had previously been open about his Christian beliefs and relationship with Churchome pastor Judah Smith.
This year, Bieber’s health has raised questions, but his representatives have continued to refute rumors of hard drug use, telling TMZ in February, “The recurring narrative that Justin is using hard drugs is absolutely not true.”
Following a significant change in his personal life, the baby hitmaker is said to be focused on fatherhood and music. Bieber has previously discussed drug use in a post.
Back in March, he left fans more concerned than ever after seeming to take drugs in an Instagram post – with the star also appearing to have ditched his wedding ring in the snaps at the time amid concerns about his marriage to Hailey Bieber.
In his past post, Justin shared six very similar photos of himself appearing to use a bong to smoke marijuana. The shots showed the Canadian singer sitting on a bike, with several quad bikes parked behind him.
Justin layering his hoodie with a navy and purple jacket, loose black pants, and light brown boots, with his head down and a hood.
The singer alternated between lighting the bong and releasing enormous streams of smoke as he made a clear one at the time to make the photos’ stars. As a backup for the poor quality photos, he chose the song “Hits from the Bong” by Cypress Hill to play in the background.
It comes after Bieber surprised fans by dropping a new album titled SWAG. The Baby singer released new music, with tracks including Therapy Sessions, Dadz Love and Devotion, amongst others, last week.
Justin and his collaborators sang and expressed their emotions throughout his emotional album, which some fans have labeled as his best work to date.
Justin’s erratic social media posts have recently caused a stir among fans, and there have even been rumors that he has broken up with his wife Hailey Bieber. He shared a photo of them and their son to celebrate the album’s release, but it seems like they are stronger than ever.
Justin sings about the “symptoms of his sensitivity” in his song All I Can Take and discusses the “symptoms of his sensitivity.” In the lyrics, he states, “These symptoms of my sensitivity feel worser knowing that no one is listening. This is it, I can’t change, Lord knows I try.”
He sings about taking all that is possible in another song passage, “And it’s all I can take (In this moment) / And it’s all I can take (All I can take) / And it’s all I can take (In this moment)” (p. 2).
In Daisies, he discusses whether or not someone will ever love him and his own worries about how a relationship with someone else will develop. He doesn’t mention any other relationships, not even Hailey Bieber’s.
He sings, “Throwin’ petals like,” “Do you love me or not?” in the song. You said, “Babe, did you mean it or not? Your head is spinning, and it doesn’t know when to stop. Hold on, hold on.
Justin sings about supporting someone else through adversity in his song Go Baby. He says they can cry on his shoulder whenever they need, and that they shouldn’t have to act like they’re okay.
When the sun turns into shadow and makes it difficult to face, he sings, “I know you need the rain. Nothing needs to work out, nothing to break, and don’t need to pretend that you’re okay.”
You better believe that I can carry all the weight and shrivel inside than to cry on my shoulder, just turn into me, or cry on my shoulder whenever you need it.
And in his song Walking Away, Justin sings unfavorably about wanting to change and being “defenceless.” Tell me why you’re throwing stones at my back when you’re not with me, he sings, while adding, “I made you a promise/I told you I’d change/These growing pains/And baby, I ain’t walking away.”
