After Blake Lively sued Baldoni for sexual harassment, Justin Baldoni’s wife Emily has spoken out about it.
Lively, 37, has accused Baldoni, 41, of sexual harassment and a concerted effort by PRs to destroy her reputation after she complained. Additionally, according to court documents, “Ms. Lively’s emotional impact was extreme,” with the aid of her husband Ryan Reynolds and their four children.
Director Baldoni has filed a lawsuit against Lively and her Hollywood star husband, 48, after the director claimed they are smuggling him. The documents also claimed Lively’s PR “escalated the false narrative by telling…]a] reporter that Blake was ‘ sexually assaulted’—an unsubstantiated accusation that not even Lively had gone so far as to claim, designed to destroy Baldoni and his reputation”.
Since the lawsuits, Justin’s wife Emily has remained silent on her Instagram feed. She has since broken her social media silence to express her heartfelt congratulations to her husband, her husband-turned-director, on his birthday.

Emily shared a photo of the couple kissing against a backdrop of crashing waves on the beach. In the photo, their two children Maiya and Maxwell are by their side. While Maxwell is resting on his father’s shoulders, Maiya is holding her shoulders while her parents are hugging each other.
Justin’s wife shared a short message to her husband in the caption as she penned: “Happy birthday my love. Celebrating the man, husband, and father that you are. I’d choose you again and again”.
Following director Baldoni’s release of a 10-minute video in which he and Lively worked on It Ends With Us to dispel the allegations of sexual harassment, Baldoni released a response. The director and actor’s team believe the footage demonstrates that Justin’s team did not engage in any wrongdoing.
The scene in which Lively claimed in her suit that Baldoni was “behaving inappropriately” is from a slow dance scene in the film. A statement was provided to PageSix along with the video. The statement read, “The scene in question was meant to depict the two characters falling in love and longing to be close to one another.” Both actors clearly behave well in terms of respect and professionalism within the context of the scene. These are all three takes filmed in sequence”.

Blake’s attorney responded to the footage in a statement to TMZ that read, “Justin Baldoni and his lawyer may hope this latest stunt will get ahead of the damaging evidence against him, but the video itself is damning.” Every frame of the released footage corroborates, to the letter, what Ms. Lively described in Paragraph 48 of her Complaint”.
The film’s explosive video features all three of Lively’s dance scenes, both of which she co-starred in with Baldoni, 40, who also directed and co-starred in the movie. Lively’s teams claim the video “shows Mr. Baldoni repeatedly leaning in toward Ms. Lively, attempting to kiss her, kissing her forehead, rubbing his face and mouth against her neck, flicking her lip with his thumb, caressing her, telling her how good she smells, and talking with her out of character”.
Lively’s lawyer also added that none of the intimacy shown in the video was choreographed. They continued: “Every moment of this was improvised by Mr. Baldoni with no discussion or consent in advance, and no intimacy coordinator present. Mr. Baldoni was not only Ms. Lively’s co-star, but the director, the head of studio and Ms. Lively’s boss”.
The legal team for Lively contends that the clips show her repeatedly asking for the characters to just talk and that Baldoni’s “leaning away” from her during the scene was not acting.
“Any woman who has been inappropriately touched in the workplace will recognize Ms. Lively’s discomfort. They will notice her wry attempts to obstruct the unwanted touching. The lawyer argued that no woman should be required to take defensive measures to prevent their employers from touching her without her consent.
Her team claims that the video’s release to the media is “a further instance of their harassment and retaliation campaign” and that it is “a further example of an unethical attempt to manipulate the public.”
“We are continuing our efforts to require Mr. Baldoni and his associates to answer in court, under oath, rather than through manufactured media stunts”, her lawyer stated.
