Missing is Mrs. Bisola Kola-Daisi, the 42-year-old eldest child of Abiola Ajimobi, the late former governor of Oyo State.
According to Persecondnews, she passed away in London, United Kingdom, on March 27 after a brief illness.
Bisola and Kolapo Kola-Daisi, a bank executive and politician from Ibadan, had three children together.
In Nigeria’s upscale retail sector, Bisola was a well-known entrepreneur. She was Grandex Nigeria Ltd., a premier FMCG retail and wholesale chain founded in 1984, as its managing director.
In a male-dominated industry, she also founded Florence H. Luxury, carving out a niche for herself.
Bisola also served as the Special Adviser to Atiku Bagudu, the country’s minister of budget and planning, in addition to her professional duties.
She was regarded as a fervent supporter of women’s empowerment and economic development.
Her husband called her “a shining star” whose legacy would be passed down to their children.
