John Crawley, a well-known figure known online as KingBeardX and Pimpmunkx, passed away at age 47 after undergoing a cardiac arrest, according to TMZ.
According to James Steele of Glenfield Funeral Home in New Albany, Mississippi, Crawley passed away on Monday in a hospital after receiving care for more than two weeks.
When Crawley was admitted to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, his long-time friend and former podcast cohost Anthony Caruso discovered that the content creator had breathing difficulties. It comes after Jessie J admitted to having cancer at her darkest experience.
Prior to his death, he was subsequently placed on a ventilator, transferred to the ICU, and had a chest tube inserted.
With over 2.5 million followers on TikTok and nearly 1 million on Instagram, Crawley amassed a sizable following from his comedic reactions to food videos.
Friends of John Crawley established a GoFundMe to cover funeral costs and provide financial support for his loved ones, despite the fact that his family is the main source of income and has no medical insurance.

On August 4, a family member reported on the fundraising page that the patient was having breathing difficulties. He was put on a ventilator by doctors, but we overdosed on oxygen and he stopped breathing. He was placed in the ICU, and oxygen levels were restored to 100%. His breathing is still very poor, despite the placement of a tube in his chest.
Sadly, Anthony Caruso later made changes to the page on Tuesday to inform readers of Crawley’s passing. Pimpmunkx (KingBeardx) passed away yesterday, he wrote in a letter to everyone. “Thank you to everyone who has so far provided financial support for the fundraiser. His mother instructed me to thank everyone, according to his mother.
He continued, “The fundraiser will continue to help raise money for John’s mother’s funeral.”
