As long as they have a sizable amount to rent, reality show fans can live like their favorite stars. Between 2011 and 2013, Joey Essex, who appeared on The Only Way Is Essex, sold his home for rent.
The 34-year-old TV personality owns a £3 million home in Essex, having previously appeared on Love Island, I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, Celebrity MasterChef, Dancing On Ice, Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, Celebs Go Dating, and more.
Fans can rent the house for an incredible £10, 000 per month as he pursues his dream of becoming a professional boxer. As Joey works out to become a top sportsman, he will spend time at elite gyms in Dubai and Los Angeles.
He is due to fight the likes of YouTube stars KSI, Jake Paul and Deji Olatunji in a tournament. His home has been listed via Durden and Hunt and is available to rent while he is abroad.
Four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a swimming pool, and walk-in closets are visible in the home’s photos and details. Leather sofas and marble surfaces give the property upscale touches.
While his garden also features a hot tub and palm trees and also features outdoor relaxation areas – not too dissimilar from the decking and outdoor beds as seen on Love Island. Joey is reportedly training with fitness expert Tony Sims to get him in shape for his upcoming fights.
Tony has worked with Anthony Joshua and Conor Benn to help them keep in fighting fit shape. The reality star is one of a string of stars signed up by celebrity promoters Misfits Boxing for a number of fights.
Joey’s hopes of winning have previously been discussed by Mams Taylor, the co-promoter of Misfits Boxing. According to The Sun, he stated, “Joey is excited to enter the ring and we are excited to have him.”
Joey and I have spoken regularly for the past few days, and he is very committed. The TV star has been displaying his self-assurance in recent social media posts, with the caption “I’m believing, dreaming, making it happen. What’s your mood like?
He gave fans a tour of his home, which he has outfitted with Amazon products, in a recent video he shared online. In his video, he said, “Welcome to my home.. I’m aware of how smart it looks, but I’m sure sure it is. Because it’s simple and smart, I installed it, which is full of smart technology.

He said, “This is where the magic happens… Alexa wakes me up with mood lighting and my favorite playlist, tells me the news and the weather… and all I need to do is say, Alexa, what’s the time!” in his bedroom.
Joey’s Essex home was left behind in 2022 when he relocated to Dubai following a break-in. He rented the property, but with a much higher price tag, after he had already moved out.
He sold his home for £13,000 per month after he fled the UK, according to a 2024 investigation. When he participated in Love Island last year, he also rented the house out.
Joey reportedly made the decision to relocate to Dubai in 2023 to escape his concerns over the 2022 house break-in. According to reports, the reality star believed that living in the United Arab Emirates would be safer and better for him.
Joey has begun to search for homes in Dubai, according to a source in April 2023. He intends to purchase a base there so he can leave whenever he likes.
Joey will be dividing his time between his new home in Dubai and his in-town Essex. He enjoys the current lifestyle and feels completely secure there.
