Before meeting Princess Anne, Joe Wicks experienced a “little cry.”

The 39-year-old fitness expert’s home workouts helped the country get hit by the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown periods. Joe became a reliable guide for millions of people with his home workouts in order to improve their mental health as the country was forced to isolate.

Following this, Joe founded his own company, The Body Coach, which continues to inspire millions every day while encouraging both adults and children to live a healthy lifestyle. However, Joe was nominated for the late Queen Elizabeth’s Birthday Honours of 2020 after one year since his first stream on March 23, 2020.

The Epsom-born online turned TV star was presented an MBE by Anne, Princess Royal, during a ceremony at Windsor Castle. The King’s sister took time to learn about the people she was meeting while spending about six hours honoring those who had received various honors on this day.

He said he became 'emotional' ahead of meeting the senior royal
Prior to meeting the senior royal (PA), he claimed, he became “emotional.”

“I don’t live to far, everyone laughed, everyone was jumping out of Mercedes and big cars, me and Nicky got out of an Uber”, Joe laughed. Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, he revealed: “I took my brother Nicky because all through the lockdown workouts, he was in my ear, we had the shoutouts so we had the AirPods in, he’d ring me and I’d keep it in my ear. It was a joint effort.

” Every single day, I was there doing it with him, so we went together. Due to the ceremony being held in alphabetical order, Joe revealed that because his last name was Wicks, he was one of the few people to meet the royal. He explained that his day took about five hours before he confronted Zara Tindall’s mother because of the lengthy list and the Royal Family’s efforts to make up for the pandemic’s absence from ceremonies.

” I got a bit emotional in the last room building up to it, “Joe explained. He continued:” I was so proud and nervous. I cried briefly before obviously approaching Princess Anne, who was so lovely. She was like ‘ So Mr. Wicks, tell me, have you finally recovered from all those workouts in lockdown, ‘ that calmed me down. She knew that, which was lovely. I’m very proud of it, and it was really nice before I received the MBE.

However, Joe claims that despite helping millions, he never considered being recognized, but that it is a “beautiful way to recognize his accomplishments.” Joe recently hit people while he was out for a run in Margate while participating in an ASDA roller disco.

” Someone at the end was like ‘ You saved my life in lockdown, ‘ “he said after his encounter with the supporter. He asserted that “people always mean what they really mean.” The woman explained to Joe that she found herself in a “dark” location during the lockdown, but his at-home exercises kept her there.

He said:” When you hear that, you remember the connection that you had with people. It really is really special, I’m proud of that, I’m proud of my impact during that time, even though it was a really difficult thing. Joe’s decision to collaborate with Asda’s Rollback campaign was a result of his father’s decision. More than 4, 000 items have been slashed by an average of 25% as a result of the supermarket giant’s price reductions for dozens of items that people purchase weekly. He stated, “It’s very closely related to my mission, which is to inspire people to cook again because a lot of people are having trouble with it. And also just to put good food on the table for them, when they do that, it’s so beneficial to their mental health, their mood, their energy.

This is a partnership that is really about that. Can we actually communicate that mission and message to customers, such as “cheaper shopping,” as opposed to “you might see the Rollback advertisement where I’m on the treadmill,” and we’re bringing the roll back to Asda to make it the best place for a family shop on a tight budget.
