Joe Swash, a member of Loose Women, and Stacey Solomon, a Loose Women panelist, have been dating since the mid-’80s, but they both acknowledge having enjoyed both their ups and downs.
Joe Swash has admitted he has made “mistakes” over the course of his nine year romance with Stacey Solomon. The 43-year-old EastEnders star has been in a relationship with 35-year-old Loose Women star Stacey since 2016.
Rex, Rose, and Belle, the couple’s youngest daughter, were born in the couple’s union in 2022. Together, the couple raise Zachary and Leighton, Stacey’s older sons Zachary and Harry from two of her previous romances, as well as Joe’s son Harry from a previous relationship.
When Joe and Stacey were spotted fighting in the street last year, their fans were alarmed. Through a brand-new reality show, the couple has now revealed the positive and negative aspects of their romance.
For their Stacey &, Joe show, the couple welcomed cameras into their Pickle Cottage home. The couple insisted in an interview with The Sunday Times that the series wasn’t intended to portray a fake, glamorized marriage.
Joe said, “We haven’t got all the answers,” he said before opening up to the weekend paper. Our children behave similarly to everyone else’s when they tantrum. We argue, but in the end, it’s usually for the right reasons because we’re trying to figure out what’s best for our family and the kids.
He then admitted, “We aren’t trying to portray a glamorous lifestyle,” going into more detail about the show. We all make mistakes, and raising a family today is not easy. But you learn from it, accept your error, and move on.
Joe praised his wife and declared, “The house would crumble without her.” He then stated, “I am aware that it can’t be simple to be with me.” I spent years living alone, only doing dishes when I ran out of plates, and eat takeaways. I, the kids, and the entire thing have been organized by Stacey.
Joe’s comments come a few months after Stacey and he rowed in the streets. According to reports, Stacey was reduced to tears following the argument in November of last year.
The couple will talk about the incident in upcoming scenes from the new series, which is scheduled to air on Tuesday, according to The Sun. It is suggested that the two got into a fight after a tense therapy session brought on feelings.
After Joe was diagnosed with ADHD, Stacey claims that she and Joe had already scheduled a therapy session at the Henry Centre in Westcliff, Essex. When Joe reportedly says, “All I am doing is trying to dedicate myself to my family and do everything I can, every minute of the day,” they speak to Natalie Corbett, a counselor.
Then, to sit here and hear that Stacey’s perfect life is about having a huge problem, all I hear is that.
Stacey allegedly responded, “This is our biggest issue in our entire relationship,” and she allegedly responded, “I think.” Without you acting so harshly, I can’t say anything; it’s an attack on you as a whole. After the row, the couple is shown discussing their thoughts during the car.
Joe admitted he “hated every second” during the discussion that made it seem like he wasn’t a fan of the session. Stacey suggests giving it another try because she believes they could be “so happy “together.” She then declares that Joe’s ADHD doesn’t contribute to their relationship, so the couple decide to continue with the sessions and toast a “lifetime of counseling.”
Stacey & Joe airs on BBC One on Tuesday’s at 8pm.
