Proud new twin mum Jesy Nelson has been absolutely inundated with messages of congratulations after the birth of her babies, following months of uncertainty about their health. Jesy, 33, and her partner Zion, 26, welcomed their little girls on Thursday 15 May.
The pair announced their news today, with their post receiving more than 6,000 comments in the first hour, proving just how deeply everyone was rooting for the former Little Mix star. Jesy has spent the last ten weeks in hospital as a precaution to keep their babies safe.
Jesy gave birth to her twins after an induced labour in hospital in London. Posting on Instagram, Jesy beamed as she held one of her twins close to her chest, while another showed new dad Zion mesmerised by his baby girl, clutching her tight while wearing a hospital gown.
Revealing that she had given birth to twin girls, Jesy wrote: “So… Our beautiful baby girls decided to come at 31weeks plus 5 days. It all happened so quickly, but we are so blessed that they are here with us, healthy and fighting strong!
We have never experienced love like this. Meet Story Monroe and Ocean Jade Nelson-Foster, both of whom are both in good health. Born on 15.05.2025. “
Friends of the couple flocked to the comments to share their congratulations, with Safiyya Vorajee writing: “Oh how my heart just filled up with love for you all, congratulations welcome to the world babies you are so special, beautiful names, now it’s time to soak up all the love and start your new chapter with love health and happiness so happy for you all.”
Luke Hamnett commented: “Congratulations my lovely,” while Married at First Sight Australia star Domenica Calarco added: “Congratulations mumma, sending all my love xxxxxxx”
Congratulations, lovely, Ashley James wrote. Jesy’s fans wrote thousands of messages exchanging their joy at hearing the news, as well as well-known names.

Jesy was admitted to hospital for emergency surgery to save her unborn twins in March. Due to her high-risk pregnancy, she was hospitalised for ten weeks, with her partner Zion supporting her throughout.
After being informed that her twins were at risk of a condition called twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS), thankfully, her surgery was successful. Untreated, the condition can lead to problems for her unborn babies, including organ failure and growth issues. It may endanger someone in some cases.
