Singer Jess Glynne hinted that she is ready to propose to partner Alex Scott after viewers saw the former footballer admit that she was waiting for Jess to pop the question
Jess Glynne has announced that she is set to pop the question to partner Alex Scott. Sharing the news with her followers, she took to Instagram and wrote: “I better go get a ring.”
This was accompanied with an image of an engagement ring and a pair of eyes wide open. This comes after Alex, 41, who played for England as a professional footballer, told her fellow campmate Ruby Wax during an episode of I’m A Celebrity Gert Me Out of Here, that she was waiting on a proposal.
During a conversation with the legendary comedian and documentary maker, Alex revealed that she “never knew happiness” until she met the Hold My Hand singer, 36.
She explained: “I think before her, I never knew happiness. She approached me in Chiltern Firehouse…I was in there with my friends and she just walked up to me…]it was] really ballsy”.
Opening up on her relationship with Jess who she started dating two years ago, she went on to say: “I was like, I like your ballsiness, and then the spark was just instant and then yeah…we fell madly in love”.
And it was at this point Ruby delved even deeper and asked if marriage was something the pair had discussed as part of their future. In response, Alex was quick to say: “I will get married to her, just waiting for her to ask, Rubes”.
Rushing to X following Alex’s admission and Jess’s post, one person wrote: “jess glynne is going to propose to alex on the bridge isn’t she”.
Another person said: “Alex Scott talking about meeting Jess and being in love with her on prime time british TV is so inspirational and warming for my heart”.
And while it appears common knowledge that Jess is in a relationship with Alex, it seems not everyone is as up to date as others.
And this was apparent after one person chimed in on the social media thread, saying: “urm who was gonna tell me that alex’s partner was jess glynne”.
I had no idea Alex Scott was with Jess Glynne, according to another person, so I must have been living in a cave.
How on earth was it that I never learned that Alex Scott was dating Jess Nothing Beats A Jet2 Holiday Glynne? A fourth person responded, “Alex Scott is with Jess Glynn” Do I have a rock under my skin? “?
Since Jess and Alex started dating in 2023, they have grown in popularity.
