Just hours after revealing that his farm would be shut down for two months, Jeremy Clarkson confirmed that one of his puppies had passed away.

TV personality Jeremy Clarkson has tragically announced the death of one of his puppies, following the news that his farm will be closed for two months due to a Bovine TB outbreak. The 65-year-old star of Clarkson’s Farm confessed he is “not enjoying farming this week” as Diddly Squat farm faces turmoil.

Live on Times Radio, Jeremy and presenter Peter Cardwell spoke about the TB outbreak and described the past 24 hours as “awful.” He claimed that if you take a test on the cows every six months, you might as well become blasé. This is a real threat.

The vet then says, “I’m really sorry this one’s failed,” as he did yesterday lunchtime. So that implies that we are now completely locked down, he continued.

The death of his puppy was revealed by Jeremy, who then told Peter, “It occupies my mind that it has only been discovered in Jeremy’s mind for not even 24 hours.”

“Well, it was occupying my mind, but I woke up this morning to discover that one of my puppies had died.”

“And our calf is very ill.” Farming, to be honest? This week, I’m not having fun.

He stated that “certainly” the Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, facility will be shut down for two months because “that’s how long we have to wait before we do another test.”

He also assured viewers that the lockdown would not have an impact on his farm shop because “it’s only cows that get affected by it.”

Meanwhile, Jeremy’s partner Lisa Hogan posted a heartbreaking video on Instagram after the tragic loss of their puppy, reports Gloucestershire Live.

The puppy’s mother, who appeared dejected and was guarded alongside the remainder of her litter, was captured in the video.

As she tenderly peeled the dog’s ears, Lisa whispered, “Poor Mr Grey, I’m sorry darling.”
