After making a shocking statement about the end of his marriage, a down-and-forgotten Jeff Brazier returned to the UK after filming a TV segment in Iceland. His wedding ring is glaringly missing.
A stony-faced Jeff Brazier has jetted back into Heathrow airport from Iceland – just days after the shock news that he has called it a day with his wife of 12 years, PR guru Kate.
The TV star, who was in Reykjavik filming for Good Morning Britain, looked downcast as he touched down in London. It comes amid reports that the pair, who tied the knot in Portugal in September 2018, “fell out of love after Jeff’s sons didn’t accept her”.
It’s been the year from hell for the Frazier family by anybody’s standards, and it’s believed to have contributed to the pair’s split. It has been reported that Freddy and Bobby, whose mum, Big Brother star Jade Goody died of cervical cancer when they were very young, always saw Kate as “dad’s partner” and hadn’t formed a close bond with her.

According to a source, “Jeff desperately wanted to portray the ideal family and had always hoped that Kate could fill the void left by Jade Goody,” but Bobby and Freddy never truly accepted her as “stepmum.” She was always “Dad’s partner,” according to them, not someone they truly felt a connection to.
However, TV presenter Jeff’s marriage to Kate, 35, had appeared strong after the heartache of raising two boys by himself following Jade’s passing, and his social media had brought up many happy memories.
Despite the public displays, Kate and Jeff still had a fiery relationship, according to the source. Although this is not their first split, some of the rows have turned out pretty ugly away from the cameras.
Kate allegedly left the family home she shared three weeks ago and then moved back to her apartment in Hackney, east London.
Earlier this year, Freddy claimed his maternal grandmother Jackiey Budden had got him ‘hooked’ on drugs when he was only 12, allegations Jackiey denied.
Jeff initially said he wanted to “keep Freddy safe,” but later made a U-turn and said he wanted to file a lawsuit against Jackiey. Jeff and his youngest son were tense about it, though.

He also seemed to take a thinly-veiled swipe at Kate as he listed things he hates – with ‘step parents’ being one of them.
On the same day news of his father’s split from Kate emerged, it was revealed that Freddy had ‘split’ from his pregnant girlfriend, influencer Holly Swinburn.
Freddy had taken to TikTok the day before to make a number of startling claims, including that he spent his 18th birthday “in a psychiatric ward” after “wishing to end it all.”
The clip includes footage of the 21-year-old walking in a dressing gown, blowing smoke at the camera, and taking mirror selfies of himself looking thin.
