After getting married eight years ago today, EastEnders cast member Jacqueline Jossa and former TOWIE star Dan Osborne tied the knot this week.
Soap star Jacqueline Jossa celebrated her wedding anniversary with her husband Dan Osborne at a five-star hotel in London this week. The EastEnders cast member shared a series of photos from the special occasion.
Jacqueline, 32, and reality TV star Dan, 33, got married back in 2017, with their eighth wedding anniversary having been today. It comes after it was announced in March that they had split up, with them said to have been working on their relationship since then.
Fans have been given an insight into their celebrations on Instagram this week. Jacqueline shared a series of photos on the platform from an apparent night away with Dan, having stayed in a suite at the hotel Pan Pacific London. She wrote in a round-up post: “24 hours in London Town.”
Dan and Dan were photographed gazing out over the city as the sun set in the background. Happy 8th wedding anniversary, Jacqueline wrote in the caption. A heart-shaped hand and another with a teary-eyed emoji were also included.
She appeared to have received a bouquet of roses that others had displayed for their anniversary, which included them. In one photo, Jacqueline held the flowers, and another showed them on a table next to a personalized bottle.
The bottle appeared to feature a photo of Jacqueline and former the Only Way is Essex star Dan enclosed in a heart shape. The personalised label featured red hearts and a message on the front of it read: “Cheers to you beautiful”.
In a selfie, Jacqueline was seen posing next to the bouquet in a photo. A sign about the family, which included Teddy Dan’s son, and was visible above a mirror behind her, was displayed above it. “Daniel]heart] Jacqueline,” it read. Ella andamp; Mia, Teddy and Ella. We have everything when we interact with one another.
Additionally, Jacqueline photographed herself in the suite today while sipping a cup of coffee. Perfect morning, she wrote. In other photos that she shared on the platform, she also gave her followers a sneak peek into the room’s interior. While another image showed her inside a city bar.
On his own page, Dan shared a photo of Jacqueline holding the bouquet that he had posted. In a message to his wife, he wrote “Happy Anniversary]Jacqueline” as the occasion’s special place.
Following rumors about the possibility, Jacqueline and Dan’s separation came just months after the news that they had split up. Dan left the house they shared, according to what was reported at the time.
A statement about their separation stated that their two children Ella, ten, and Mia, six, remain their “top priority”. It read: “[They] are handling things privately, choosing to keep their lives and relationship out of the public eye. They kindly ask for respect and privacy as they navigate this together.
Their children are always in charge, surrounded by both parents’ love and care, which is unchangeable. Above all, Jacqueline and Dan are concerned about the best interests of their children. No further comments will be made.
There was later speculation that Jacqueline was trying to “save” the marriage and weeks after the news of the split, they were said to have enjoyed a “make or break” holiday with their family in a bid to rekindle their relationship.
A source told the Mirror at the time Jacqueline and Dan were “trying to fall back in love with each other again”. They said: “They’ve had a rocky, up and down relationship so now they’re trying to do things differently and give each other more space at home, while enjoying this holiday.”
Jacqueline and Dan do want to have children and do want to be a family, the source continued. It’s now just a case of remembering why they were first together. They are aware that things must change in order for this to work and that this has been a difficult road.
