After revealing that she was once a Gladiator on the recognizable TV show, Dr. Zoe Williams completely dissented from her fans.
In the most recent iteration of the beloved series, which aired on Sky, the 44-year-old starred as Amazon.
Zoe, who has come to prominence on This Morning, had previously mentioned her time on Gladiators, but a throwback photo shared in 2022 really surprised some of her fans. One fan gushed: “Omg no way!! Loved Gladiators”! Another chimed in, “No way, I loved watching this, I didn’t even realize it was you x.”

Meanwhile, another commented: “Great photo i loved Gladiators but never knew this was you. Well done”.
While studying at university, Zoe applied to compete on the Sky reboot of Gladiators. However, impressed by her, the Sky producers offered her a role as one of the Gladiators, bestowing upon her the name Amazon.
Zoe became known as the “green Gladiator”, symbolising Sky’s commitment to environmental campaigns and promoting eco-friendly living. She appeared in the show’s second season, where she was portrayed as “Regal and Amazonian, nature’s powerful force runs through her veins”.

Zoe, who has been romantically linked to James Crossley, also known as Hunter from the original Gladiators, shared her experiences with GP Online.
Reflecting on her time on the show, she said: “As a child growing up in the 1990s, I watched the original Gladiators, so getting the opportunity to become one was incredible. It turns out to be just as enjoyable as it sounds to hit people with enormous cotton buds.
Zoe, who now appears on This Morning as a medical expert, reflected on her past experiences: “Gladiators also gave me opportunities to share my enthusiasm for being active, giving motivational talks to children, and attending school assemblies and awards events”.

She attributes the episode to teaching her about the profound influence physical activity can have on a person’s life, both physically and psychologically.
After graduating from medical school in 2007, Dr. Zoe sparked her media interest with her love of exercise and health. She regularly appears on the ITV daytime show as a general practitioner in London. Additionally, she hosted episodes of Horizon and Trust Me I Am a Doctor on BBC1.
Just last year, Zoe sparked concern after being rushed to A&, E due to health issues.
She shared her experience with fans on social media, posting photos of the hospital’s operating rooms, one of which was dressed up and the other of which was connected to heart monitors. Dr. Zoe, 44, has been dealing with these health concerns for a while and revealed she even drafted an emergency will in the wake of her fear.
