Indian village celebrates end of Diwali with cow dung fight

For the Gorehabba festival, a local custom that marks the end of Diwali, thousands of people in Gummatapura, southern India, hurl cow dung at each other. Many Hindus regard cow excrement as sacred and purifying, but according to devotees, Beereshwara Swamy, their deity, was born in it.
