The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the draw on Tuesday, and on February 15 India and Pakistan will square off in a politically charged Twenty20 World Cup match in Colombo.
Between February 7 and March 8, the ICC announced in a statement that the 20-team competition will take place at eight locations, five of which are in India and three in Sri Lanka.

Because of their strained political ties with India, Pakistan will play all of their games there.
Ahmedabad, in western India, is scheduled for the March 8 final, but if Pakistan succeeds, Colombo will host it.
The nuclear-armed neighbors’ subsequent Asia Cup 2025, in which India refused to accept the winners’ trophy from Mohsin Naqvi, the country’s interior minister, was overshadowed by a military conflict in May.
The top two teams in the tournament’s five groups of four teams advance to the Super Eight round. The top four will advance to the semifinals.
On February 7, defending champions India will kick off their Group A campaign in Mumbai against the Americans.
Group B, which includes Ireland, Zimbabwe, and Oman, includes Sri Lanka and Australia.
In Group C, England and West Indies will face first-timers Italy and Bangladesh and Nepal, both of whom have twice triumphed.
Group D includes Afghanistan, Canada, South Africa, Afghanistan, and the United Arab Emirates.
