Harry Kane says he is open to discussions with Munich, Bayern about a new contract and that his desire to return to the Premier League has subsided.

Kane is about to conclude his four-year contract with Tottenham Hotspur from Tottenham Hotspur for £86. million in 2023.

The 32-year-old has helped the German club win the 2024-25 Bundesliga title, his first honor of his career, scoring 103 goals in 106 appearances for the club.

Thomas Frank, the manager of Tottenham, stated that he would like for Kane to travel to England, where he needs 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer’s 260-game Premier League scoring record.

The England captain says he would consider extending his stay in Bavaria because he is no longer as interested in returning home as he once was.

I could definitely see that if I continued to stay longer, he said.

“I admitted a few weeks ago that I had not had those conversations with Bayern, but I would be willing to talk and engage in honest conversation if they did.”

“Obviously, it depends on how the next year or so turns out and what we accomplish together. We are currently in a fantastic state, and I don’t have any other thoughts in mind.

“I don’t know what the Premier League is like. I would have guaranteed that I would return if you had asked when I first left for Bayern.

“I would probably say that has decreased a little now that I have been there a few years, but I wouldn’t say I will never go back.”

Kane has scored 100 goals for a club in one of Europe’s top five leagues in just 104 games for Bayern, making him the all-time top scorer both for Tottenham and England. He recently became the fastest player this century to do so. Prior to last year’s triumph, he had no idea where to find a trophy.

After ending his trophy drought, Kane claims he was unsure of how he would react, but now thinks it has given him more appetite.

When you win a title like I did last year, he said, “I’m going to be like, OK, I’ve done what I wanted to do.”

“But it’s given me more drive to do more and improve.” This year, I believe I’ve demonstrated that.

I was curious about my feelings after a trophy was won. Of course, I still have a lot more to do in terms of bigger trophies and more trophies to win.

“But I believe it was always the way I felt when I actually won my first one,” in my opinion.
