Jess Naz, a Tottenham player, has been “done being quiet” after being accused of receiving “racial abuse” on social media.

Following Tottenham’s penalty shootout victory over Aston Villa in the Women’s League Cup, the 24-year-old posted on Instagram that she had been “subjected to racial abuse in my DMs.”

She stated, “I was going to wait until after the game to speak because I’m done being quiet.” In my DMs, I was the victim of racial abuse.

Tottenham remarked, “The club is disgusted by Jessica Naz’s racist abuse on social media.

“Jess has spoken out against this repulsive behavior, and we support her in calling out this obscene and wicked deed.”

We are collaborating with the appropriate authorities and social media platforms to identify the perpetrator, and we will take immediate action against them.

“Racism cannot be tolerated in our sport or anywhere else in society.” We support Jess.

Naz, 24, signed for Tottenham from Arsenal in 2018 and has started every game of this season’s Women’s Super League and Women’s League Cup.
