Osbourne remarked on his song, “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!” co-stars claim that he was raised believing that Sharon’s father, Don Arden, had passed away before they first met.
Years before their first meeting, Jack Osbourne learned that his maternal grandfather “was dead.” When he was just 16 years old, the reality star and son of Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne first met his maternal grandfather, Don Arden.
I’m a celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! on Friday’s episode! Jack revealed his legendary family to his campmates. Rock and roll surrounded Jack when he was a child. His grandfather, Don, oversaw the likes of Sabbath, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Gene Vincent, to name a few. His father, of course, was Black Sabbath’s frontman.
Don, who passed away in 2007 at the age of 81, gained notoriety for his aggressive businessmanship and was frequently referred to as the “Al Capone of Pop.” However, he separated himself from his family, including Sharon, as a result of his business decisions.

Shortly before he and Sharon started dating, Sabbath fired Ozzy, and she took over as his manager in 1979. For the past 20 years, Sharon and Don had no communication.
Model Kelly Brook told Jack that she’d heard that Don had dangled bands out of the window unless they agreed to sign with him as their manager. Confirming it was true, Jack nodded before saying: “He pulled guns on people, everything.”
After Sharon took over Ozzy, Don “certainly tried” to dangle her out of the window, Jack further explained. After Sharon and Don were hired as Ozzy’s manager, Jack lightened up Sharon and Don’s feud, he said, “He sent hitmen after them.” He taught her everything, and he conducted all kinds of messed up things, including showing up with guns at shows.
“Bad s**t,” he said, “He would never get in trouble if my mother had signed all of these documents and everything was in her name.” Other record companies would be bombed by them. My grandfather was aware of the Krays because of this. Who could help us out, would be more appropriate? “
Jack later revealed Sharon had learned everything about Don’s activities, including stealing money from bands. He told his campmates, “She left and took control of my dad, and they went to court, they had to essentially pay him a million dollars to break the contract.”
Jack revealed the reasons why he and his grandad didn’t get along until he was 17 years old. Up until I was 15 or 16 when my mother actually told me he was dead, I was just 15 or 16? Sharon and Don were seen argumenting in Beverly Hills, but Sharon later explained to her children that Don wasn’t dead.
He continued, “My dad said, You need to deal with this, or you’ll have regrets,” adding, “He got diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Sharon said in a 2001 statement that she had no intentions of reconciling with her father or giving him the details of her children. My father has never even seen any of my three children, and she claimed that he will never do so.
However, Sharon and Don reconciled in the same year, as requested by Ozzy. He met his granddaughter Aimée on-screen because she refused to appear on the reality series The Osbournes the following year.
After battling Alexheimer’s disease, Don sadly passed away on July 21, 2007, in Los Angeles. In the later years of his life, Sharon had provided for his care. He was laid to rest just days later in Cheetham, Manchester, close to where he was born. Sharon, however, chose not to go to his funeral because she was “too traumatized to attend.”
