Lord Charles Brocket, a peer and reality television star, will not stand trial for alleged sexual assault and rape until late 2027.

Lord Brocket, 73, made an appearance at Isleworth Crown Court on Tuesday, finishing fourth overall in the 2004 television series I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

Although his attorney Crispin Aylett KC indicated that he intends to enter a not-guilty plea, he was notarrayed.

In August, Brocket is accused of rape on two counts, two of sexual assault, and one count of engaging in sexual activity without authorization in London.

Prior to a hearing on Monday, he was cleared of one count of sexual assault by penetration in the village of Warbleton, East Sussex.

Judge Martin Edmunds KC, the recorder of the Royal Borough of Kensington, informed him that a trial will be held there on November 1st, 2027.

The trial of Lord Charles and Brocket won’t start until late 2027.

The senior judge apologized to Brocket, saying that the trial is expected to last seven days because it is still in the early stages of the case, but priority must be given to cases with an increasing backlog of cases appearing in court and those in custody.

Prior to the pre-trial preparation hearing, Brocket of Fulham, west London, had only been asked to confirm his name and birthdate.

As the attorneys went over the administrative details, he sat quietly in the dock while sporting a slate grey suit and a white open-neck shirt.

A case management hearing scheduled for January 9, 2026, for which Brocket was conditionally bailed, was set for January 9, 2026.

On October 7, 2027, a pre-trial review was scheduled to take place in order to prepare for the trial.
