Idia Aisien To Star In Her Stage Debut “Dear Father” Alongside RMD, Kunle Remi

Idia Aisien, a well-known actress, will make her highly anticipated stage debut with “Dear Father,” a powerful and moving play that will make its London debut in June 2025.
In this ground-breaking production, Aisien co-leads, which explores the imperative role men play in protecting their daughters in the escalating femicide cases.

The SUMI Group produced “Dear Father,” which is the first stage adaptation of a chapter from the Invisible Hands catalogue that has been developed for over 30 years. With its socially relevant message and emotional depth, the production is aiming to captivate audiences.
A star-studded cast, including legendary actor Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), makes his long-awaited return to the London stage after nearly four decades, along with Aisien.

Kunle Remi and a stellar ensemble that includes Tobi Bakre, Ronke Oshodi-Oke, Akin Lewis, Mike Edwards, Oluwaseun Ola, and Tomi Ojo make their stage debuts alongside Aisien.
The touching tale of Nike, a daughter, begins to question the sacrifices her father made for her in “Dear Father.” The play illuminates the complex father-daughter relationship through this lens and raises awareness of pressing social issues.
