ICC convicts first militia leader for brutal attacks in Darfur

Ali Muhammad Ali Abd-Al-Rahman, the head of Sudan’s militias, was found guilty of war crimes more than 20 years ago by the International Criminal Court. He was charged with participating in the atrocities that resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people.
