General Christopher Musa, the head of the Chief of Defence Staff, claimed synergy among the various military formations was to blame for the recent arrest of Ansaru terrorist leaders.
General Musa stated on Thursday on Channels Television’s Politics Today program, “What has changed is that we have synergy with all the organizations… and that is why we have seen all the successes.”
The Nigerian Air Force, the Nigerian Army, and the Nigerian Navy were involved in the operation, according to the defense chief, adding that it was important to do so after the terrorist commanders were arrested.
“On the Ansaru commanders that were arrested,” said General Musa. One of the most significant arrests ever made is this.
The two of them’s selection was based on how meticulous and meticulous the planning was carried out, and that is how they were able to choose them.
These men have been possessed for a very long time. It demonstrates how well the operational and intelligence work together.
He claimed that the military had long pursued the terrorists who had been detained before they were apprehended.
General Musa remarked that soldiers were “picking these guys” all day and night. Therefore, I can assure you that it will be better.

Nuhu Ribadu, the NSA’s national security adviser, announced the arrest of two of the country’s top two terrorist organizations on Saturday.
According to reports, the two leaders were Mahmuda and Ansaru, a relatively new and less well-known militant group, respectively. Following a string of attacks in the country’s north-central region earlier this year, Mahmuda gained national notoriety.
Mahmud al-Nigeri of the Mahmuda group and Mahmud Muhammad Usman of Ansaru are the arrested leaders. Ribadu claims that both men are sought after abroad.
These two men have spent years missing from Nigeria’s most wanted list. At a press conference, Ribadu stated that “they jointly spearheaded numerous attacks against civilians, security forces, and critical infrastructure.”
