The Beckham clan has been accused of a family feud for months, with eldest son, Brooklyn, 26, and his wife Nicola Peltz missing out on significant family gatherings.
Nicola Peltz had been “actively distancing” herself from the Beckhams since Christmas, with their final photo together showing their were already signs of a rift. The ‘feud’ has seen the family’s eldest son, Brooklyn miss out on huge family milestones, including his dad David’s 50th birthday celebration earlier this month.
Although rumours about a dispute had been circling for months, when photos emerged showing the 26-year-old’s absence from David’s big day – the evidence was indisputable. The family had planned a series of lavish dos to celebrate the former Manchester United footballer’s birthday.
The Spice Girls, a host of David’s family and friends, and a large party at the family’s sprawling Cotswolds home were among those who turned up to celebrate. After that, they traveled to Paris for an intimate dinner on his birthday in one of his favorite locations and spent an afternoon enjoying a wine tasting experience at a vineyard in the south of France.
The Beckhams and their entourage left for a posh restaurant called Core by Clare Smyth in London’s Notting Hill the following day. The group started partying until early in the morning and was even shut down by the council after receiving complaints about noise, which was then followed by an array of A Listers, including Gordon Ramsay, Eva Longoria, and Tom Cruise.
But throughout all the fun and celebration – Brooklyn and Nicola were nowhere to be seen. Fans spotted there was someone missing from the bash, but a body language expert has suggested the separation from Brooklyn’s family had been months in the making.
Judi James explained to the Mail how trouble was brewing over Christmas, after the Beckham’s shared what appeared to be a sweet snap of the clan together. She pondered: “Nicola’s smile here looks charming and her pose is a mirrored version of Victoria’s but it has seemed as though she might have been actively distancing herself (and Brooklyn) from the Beckham clan.
It is not unusual for new wives to encourage husbands to stand up for their loved ones rather than become overly dependent on them. Although in the past, she and Brooklyn have sat separately from their parents, and this line-up might have exacerbated that distancing, which could have increased the tension.
Victoria’s Instagram post for David’s birthday simply omits Brooklyn’s name despite tagging her other kids, but David and Victoria have remained quiet about the suspected feud. A marketing expert believes that Beckham’s current drama could actually improve their relationship as a close-knit family.
CEO of Go Up, Edward Coram James (www. Goup . Brand Beckham may be under some scrutiny right now, but this is not their first rodeo, according to Co. uk, who quoted from the Mirror. This family has endured everything from scandalous leather-dressing to relentless tabloid drama.
They have been fashion and beauty entrepreneurs, sports legends, and pop royalty. Unapologetic about it, a little messy, and posh about it. Victoria can trotter her privileged upbringing in a Superbowl commercial the minute and become a front-row fashion icon the next. They are confident enough to ignore our laughter whether we laugh at them or with them because they are self-aware enough to let us in on the joke.
Brooklyn, Nicola, and missed milestone parties certainly make for interesting headlines and stoke endless rumors, he added. However, Brand Beckham’s strength comes from its foundation, which includes relatable flaws, resilience, and the undeniable success of each individual family member.
The current drama only adds more depth to their already rich narrative, in fact. Brand Beckham is not fracturing, though. It is constantly evolving. That might even make it stronger.
