Hollywood A-lister Johnny Depp’s son’s very normal job as he’s pictured working in Paris

You’d think they would have the best chance of landing a top job as the child of an Hollywood legend.

But it seems as though Johnny Depp’s son, Jack, 22, has decided to take the more reclusive route of earning money, as it has been revealed that he has been working at a local bar in Paris, as a bartender. In contrast to his sister Lily-Rose, Jack is the son of the singer and singer from Pirates of the Caribbean and his father, Vanessa Paradis, who has chosen to work from home.

In the French capital’s hipster district, Bastille, Jack had been employed by a well-known Lebanese restaurant called L’Area. The restaurant is hailed as being well-known in the music and fashion sectors as well as Matt Damon and Matt Dillon’s regular venues.

A recent review of the eatery said: “Excellent! This cozy restaurant is always greeted with a warm welcome and a delicious meal. A wonderful host and good food. And Jack had been making cold and hot mezze both downstairs and behind the bar, according to the MailOnline.

On the social media pages of the restaurant, Lily-Rose making cocktails and Jack working there were also seen. After two years of service, Jack left the restaurant a few months ago, but it appears that Edouard Chueke, the restaurant’s owner, plans to have him back at work in the following year.

Speaking to the publication, Edouard said: “Jack is a great guy, he keeps out of the limelight, but worked here behind the bar and in the kitchen. He left a few months ago, but I anticipate seeing him back later in the year. He was a good employee. It’s difficult to find trustworthy staff. This place is very well-known with the fashion and music industry, but also film stars and Vanessa Paradis, Jack’s mother and sister, regularly visit.

He continued, “Lily was mixing caipirinhas behind the bar and really getting into the swing of it. She was enjoying herself.” In an effort to enable their children to live a normal life, Vanessa and Johnny had always made an effort to keep their children away from the spotlight while they were growing up.

And she stated in an interview with a Belgian publication in 2007 that she now “keeps them from the cameras because I don’t want our children to be forced to share in our fame against their will.” They didn’t ask for that. Not yet. I won’t stop until they make the decision to take action that might make them famous.

But Jack has stayed away from the acting world in contrast to his sister, who has followed her father’s example. But it looks as though Lily-Rose has been keen to gain her brother’s approval. Lily-Rose revealed in an interview with Interview magazine that Jack had given her the go-ahead for her most recent horror film.

She explained that, “My brother and I were both very obsessed with Dracula when we were younger, and this one in particular was big for me.” When he was a child, my brother would dress up like Dracula. I was like ‘ Wow, if I get this part my brother’s going to finally think I’m cool. ‘”

She added: “It’s the classic thing of when you have a younger sibling, they think you are so cool when you’re kids, and then when you get older, now I think he’s so cool, and I’m like ‘ Let’s hang! ‘ And he’s like, ‘ I’m busy ‘ but yeah I think I got some points with this one”. And while Lily-Rose has begun to act like her father, it appears Johnny is relieved that his son didn’t follow her example.

Back in 2014, he Hollywood star said: “My boy, jack, has always been a very talented draftsman. He really does a great job of drawing. He excels at playing music as well. He’s got a good feel for that. Aside from school plays and things, he hasn’t shown any desire to become an actor. Whew”.
