As she puts her children first, it is thought that Heather Flanagan and her boyfriend Robbie Talbot had an argument. The Mirror examines the actress’ former relationships and the “man ban” her pals had ordered.
Helen Flanagan has reportedly split from boyfriend Robbie Talbot a year after the pair went public with their romance. The mum-of-three had hinted at wanting a child with the former footballer, but has since had a “change of heart,” according to friends.
Helen, 34, was living with Robbie, 45, in her stunning Bolton mansion, but just last month, the former Coronation Street actress revealed he had moved out because it was not helpful to her children, who ‘missed’ their dad, Helen’s ex-fiance, Scott Sinclair.
After her difficult breakup from Scott, her friends attempted to force her to a “man ban.” She later reconciled with Robbie. We examine the actress’s previous relationships here…

The I’m A Celebrity star separated from Bristol Rovers footballer Scott Sinclair in 2022 after 13 years together. The pair share three children: Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and son Charlie, four.
Last year, Helen spoke out about her split with Scott and revealed, ” We don’t like each other.” Opening up on Charlotte Dawson’s Naughty Corner podcast, she said, “I still love him very much, I care about him deeply, but we don’t like each other. We don’t like each other at all, we don’t get on. I do know that Scott—he’d never admit it—cares about me too, and he does love me.”
She continued, “When I last saw him, I thought it was quite funny because he had a bucket hat on. I was taking the p*** out of him.” He apparently made an effort to not laugh, in my opinion.
After their breakup, Helen admitted how her friends tried to put her on a “man ban” after she broke up with Scott. She claimed in The Sun’s Fabulous Magazine, “Many of my friends were trying to put me on a man ban, which obviously didn’t work!” I started dating because I had to feel hurt after the breakup and had always wanted to be loved.
After her “ban,” Robbie and Helen met him shortly after they met, and the former Coronation Street star had been living together since they first started dating eight months ago. She claimed on the Daily Mail podcast in March that “everyone loves him” and that he was the “funniest guy I’ve ever met.”
He has two kids, and he has two beautiful kids with them, she continued. Because he treats me so well, and because that’s what I need most, I think that’s what made me fall in love with him more. My top priority is to have someone who is good for me mentally and emotionally, which is what I have come to realize.
I’ll always have that love for the father of my children because he didn’t know how to handle me or cope with me, which not everyone does, but because the man I’m with now really knows how to do that, it makes me happy.
Friends now claim the mother-of-three had a change of heart and that Robbie told her their relationship “wasn’t working.” They want various things in life, a source told The Sun. She is attempting to balance work and parenting with recently obtaining a new acting position. She told him two weeks ago, “This isn’t working, but she just wants to be on her own for a while while I’m on my own,” while she sat him down.
Robbie moved into her pad after declaring that she felt safer alone with a man in her home and that she frequently gets scared on her own, but realized it was harming her children. She always referred to her daughter Matilda as “daddy’s girl” and “sensitive,” who struggled to avoid seeing Scott as much as she would like, putting her children first. Being dating at home didn’t help the situation, Heather realized.
Helen Flanagan’s representative has been contacted by The Mirror for comment.
