Chris Brown’s second Grammy came after 20 years, and his previous felony assault convictions have caused outrage among fans.

He won Best R&amp, B Album for his work on ‘ B11: 11’, outshining Muni Long’s ‘ Public Displays of Affection’, Lucky Daye’s ‘ Candydrip’, Usher’s ‘ My Way ‘ and Lalah Hathaway’s self-titled album.

Despite three nominations at this year’s Grammys, Brown only secured the one trophy. For his album “FA,” he had previously won in the same category. M. E. ‘ at the 54th Grammy Awards.

Brown has been a figure of controversy since pleading guilty to assaulting former girlfriend, the Barbados-born pop sensation Rihanna, in 2009, leading to five years of probation and community service. His legal struggles continued with a hit-and-run allegation pausing his probation in 2013, an assault charge the same year, rehab violations, and subsequent jail time.

Following this, Brown underwent counselling for domestic violence and anger management. According to the Mirror US, he also tried rehab once more, which resulted in the diagnosis of a number of mental health issues.

The Rihanna case was officially closed by Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin in 2015. However, fans struggled to move on.
