The Plateau State governor, Caleb Metfwang, has approved the disengagement of five members of the state executive council.
This was made known on Wednesday in a statement signed by Samuel Jatau, the secretary of state for the country.
The affected council members are the commissioners of ministries of commerce and industry, Sule Musa, Science and Technology, Associate Professor Obed Goselle, Youth and Sport Development, Noel Nkup, Budget and Economic Planning, Chrysantus Dawan and that of Tourism, Culture and Hospitality, Jamila Tukur.
Additionally, the governor approved the nominations of five commissioners to replace them.
They are Sunday Alex from Bassa Local Government Area, Joyce Ramnap, Langtang South, Sylvanus Dongtoe, Shendam, Nicholas Bamlong, Quanpan and Cornelius Doeyok also from Quanpan LGA.
