We have a stronger love than we ever could have imagined. We appreciate you so much for your messages. Time to jump into the “baby bubble.”
Fellow Love Islanders flooded the comments with congratulatory messages. Kaz Crossley wrote, “Crying” along with several heart emojis. Tasha Ghouri also wrote: “Congratulations angel”.
She announced the birth in a fun video that she posted to social media the day after. She is filmed rubbing and patting her baby bump in the video, continuing until the final clip, in which she is seen holding the baby. Happy Halloween everyone, she wrote in the title. That’s the question, “Trick or Treat”?
Again, she was met with congratulatory messages from several Love Islanders, including Tom Clare, Molly Smith and Liberty Poole. Other celebrities also congratulated her, including Charlotte Crosby, who said: “Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh this video was just such an unexpected surprise.”
Georgia announced she was pregnant in April, just 10 months after she met her boyfriend Jack. At the time, she told The Mirror: “Anyone who knows us knows how strong we are, and how happy we make each other. We both definitely wanted children, and while some may say it feels too soon, we know that this is amazing news and we couldn’t be happier.”
The birth is not the only brilliant thing to happen or Georgia this month. She was also awarded an MBE for her services to campaigning for better legislation tackling violence against women. She is the first Love Island to get the honour.
Georgia described being appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire by Prince William at Windsor Castle in an earlier statement about her MBE.
“I’m really appreciative, and I’m going to be 100% more aggressive with my campaigning.” And given that I will be given this responsibility, it will be something that will really motivate me to continue to inspire change for women everywhere.
“I’m thrilled,” I thought. Simply put, I was unaware of how magical the occasion would be. I was so happy to learn that Prince William was the one.
I had really found when I was receiving the award, that he had taken such a genuine interest in everything I’d done, had been following my story, and that really meant a lot to me.
