Holly Hagan has confirmed she has been diagnosed with ADHD, admitting she has suffered an ‘ intense ‘ 6 months of feeling ‘ overwhelmed ‘ and ‘ disorganised’.

The Geordie Shore star, 32, who has previously opened up about her hearing battle, took to Instagram on Monday (6 January) to update her 4.1M followers of the diagnosis, reaching out to users for their tips and advice going forward.

Sharing a video to her page, Holly candidly wrote: “Starting my 2025 with an ADHD diagnosis. The constant overwhelm, disorganisation, insomnia, misdiagnosed anxiety, previous EDs, inability to focus, forgetfulness, object permanence meaning I literally forget people exist! I’ve worked so hard to hide all these years, and working at my job has given me so much freedom to avoid being overwhelmed.

The reality tv star acknowledged that since becoming a mother, she has been noticing her symptoms more.

According to Holly, the turning point was having son Alpha Jax born in June 2023, who she shares with husband Jacob Blyth. “It’s only since I’ve become a parent and have been running my businesses full time that I’ve come to realize I’m not actually functioning well. To the point where I was wondering if I would fail my business if I only got a good night’s sleep in 2024 if I exercise for three hours per week.

“These last six months have been very intense, and I wouldn’t have known if it weren’t for the other women who are going through this,” I said. She concluded: “I would absolutely love any tips that you have found helpful to keep organised and be less overwhelmed”.

Holly, who is qualified as a personal trainer and has her own fitness app, Team Fitty, was flooded with comments of support from her followers. One person wrote, “Welcome to the club, my life has changed. ” You could try it, or you could try magnesium or lion’s maine, both natural. There is a sizable online community where you can share your experiences and comments. It is really helpful to have people who are knowledgeable about xx.

Another suggested: “Use it as your gift the empathy, the hyper focus, the emotions you feel that others don’t! White boards, phone notes and not thinking of the 10 things you need to do, only 1 at a time. Good days and bad days but it can’t be medicated that I’ll say, medication numbs your personality. X”

While others supported Holly for speaking out, as one fan commented: “You are not alone in this. It’s so brave to share this and cheer everyone up.
